A LIFELONG DREAM REALIZED
ANKA has been a passion project in the making for as long as I can remember. The dream of selling art—whether it’s jewelry, paintings, or any creative expression—has always driven me. Every day has been a step closer to this vision.
In June 2022, after earning my BFA in Interior Design and before entering my MFA program, I finally launched ANKA. That summer, I dedicated my time after work to turning my dream into reality.

PHASE ONE | LEARNING THE ROPES
So, I just kept creating new products
It started out small with a few packs of charms and a newly launched Instagram page - I sold out in a week.
Then, I participated in my first group show!
(let me tell you, I learned a lot from this experience!)

PHASE TWO | HONING MY CRAFT
Alas, the laser cut jewelry line was ideated and created
150 pairs of unique earrings were created from a final project in my graphic design studio Sprint 2023.
My business model began to form - I wanted to make jewelry that was one-of-a-kind to give people a pop of art in their wardrobe.
And it changed the game.
SUDDENLY A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF OPPORTUNITIES APPEARED!
PHASE THREE | EXPANDING MY LIMITS
In the last two years, ANKA has generated over 6k in revenue through online orders, pop-up shops, freelance design, photoshoots, and commissions.
THE CURRENT PHASE
BY THE THIRD SHOW I PARTICIPATED IN, I WAS SELLING EARRINGS, NECKLACES, PRINTS, CROCHET TOTE BAGS, HATS, AND WATER BOTTLE HOLDERS
What’s in store in the future for ANKA? We are working towards this being a full-time pursuit of sharing with the world!
